Let's March in April

On April 1, 2023, a compassionate community coalition – local businesses, nonprofit organizations, and hundreds… or dare we say, thousands… of citizens will march in Downtown Santa Cruz to end homelessness.

Housing Matters is dedicated to resolving homelessness, and one of its organizational pillars is advocacy. We take action by supporting public policy that strives to end homelessness, but, most importantly, we inform our community about homelessness – challenging and dispelling the myths surrounding it.

The March is a benchmark opportunity for Santa Cruz county neighbors and friends to gather, connect, and together give voice (and steps!) to end homelessness. Marching on April 1 is about raising our voices but, more importantly, showing solidarity and a vision for the future within our sector will build momentum for solutions in our community. We
are elevating our community’s level of commitment by marching shoulder to shoulder in the heart of our city.

This is a milestone event, the first event of its kind in Santa Cruz County, and you don’t want to miss being a part of it. Your team can partner at whatever level feels right for your organization:

• Sponsorship
• Volunteer
• Promotion/marketing
• Become an Area Lead
• Tabling at the event
• MARCH!

We are counting on your partnership to ensure that banners are waving, people are walking together, voices are heard, and commitment is shared.
