Barricade Monitors
Shift: 8:30 – 11:30 am
Volunteers sit or stand at downtown street closures in pairs and, in case of an emergency, must be prepared to move barricades out of the way for emergency-vehicle access throughout the March. Training will take place during your volunteer shift at the March.
March Monitors
Shift: 8:30 – 11:30 am
Volunteers walk among marchers wearing safety vests helping to direct the March and to maintain the pace. Training will take place during your volunteer shift at the March.
March Check-In and Support
Shift: 8:30 – 11 am
Volunteers help to set up our check-in station and then remain at their station to welcome marchers and handout t-shirts.
Festival Support
Shift 1: 8:30 am – 12 pm
Shift 2: 12 – 3 pm
Volunteers help to set up and break down tables, chairs, and other festival- related items at the end-point of the March, at the County Building on Ocean Street.
