Soupline 2020 is Canceled

As you likely expect, we have made the difficult decision to officially cancel this year’s Soupline event.

Ticket options

If you purchased tickets to Soupline, you have a couple of options:

  1. Request a refund. We are happy to give you a full refund. Simply send an email to, and we’ll get it processed right away. NOTE: You must request your refund prior to April 15, so we can make sure it gets processed through Eventbrite.
  2. Donate your ticket. Soupline is our largest fundraiser of the year, and we would be honored if you decide to turn your ticket purchase into a donation to Housing Matters. If this is the route you wish to take, no action is needed on your part. We will follow up in the next 45 days with a request for your mailing address, so we can send a donation confirmation for your records

Our goal was to raise $100,000 at Soupline. In light of current events, your support will go to caring for one of the most vulnerable populations in our community — people without homes. Click here to keep the Soupline spirit going, and donate to Housing Matters.


While we are sad to have to cancel this year’s event, we are brimming with gratitude for our community. We were well on our way to a fully sold-out event — a first in Soupline’s 21-year history. Our community (that’s YOU!) is committed to ending homelessness in Santa Cruz County, and we are grateful for that every single day.
